Tired of waiting for a notification every time you want to join a Zoom class or unable to log in to NYU when your phone's battery is dead? Bye DUO is here to solve these problems. With Bye DUO, you can log in to NYU using just your browser. This Chrome add-on generates a six-digit passcode that you can quickly paste into the Multi-Factor Authentication page, eliminating the need for a notification on your phone. Bye DUO is open source and free to use.

To set up Bye DUO, simply log in to NYU and click "Add a new device" on the Multi-Factor Authentication page. Select "Tablet" and then "iOS." Choose the option to receive an activation link via email and paste the URL from the email into Bye DUO's input bar. Once activated, you can generate passcodes whenever you need to log in.
